Feudal Japan Artstation Challenge
The two cranes I drew to stencil onto the kimono.
This is what would have been my submission for the Feudal Japan Artstation Challenge. But better late then never.
Sculpted the figure with Zbrush, created the clothing with Marvelous Designer and then did the retopolgy in Maya. Created the groom with Xgen and the textures with Substance Painter and Photoshop. Then lit, shaded, and rendered with Arnold for Maya.
Worked from the Geisha concept art that Servane Altermatt had submitted for the Feudal Japan Artstation Challenge. Check out her artwork, she did a great job with some super cool and fun characters.
