Hand Puppet

This was a project I had done using a Leap Motion Controller. Where users could use the Leap Motion Controller to track their hands without the use of a game controller or any wearables.

I was responsible for all aspects. From the initial idea and sketching; to sculpting in Zbrush and then modeling and retopology within Maya. Texturing with Substance Painter, which was exported for the High Definition Render Pipeline in Unity.
Rigging and skinning of joints was done in Maya and then connected to real-time physics based rigs in Unity. As well as importing all assets and animations into a Unity scene and ensuring everything plays and functions as intended.

Everything is in real-time, as users move and gesture with their hands, the puppets move as if being worn by the users hands. Definitely lots to polish with this still but was a good technical experiment for me to become more familiar with Unity.
